🎉 New #blogpost! 5 Things You Probably Didn’t Know About Chelsea!
Welcome to my humble abode. Let me show you round...
Last chance to book onto this evening’s virtual tour around Maida Vale! 💻
On Wymering Road in Maida Vale, not only will you find these beautiful 19th century mansion-flats, but also a green plaque commemorating a very important woman: Vera Brittain. She lived here in the 1920s. Swipe left for the plaque! 👈
Furnivall Gardens in Hammersmith. Not only does it have these lovely riverside views but it also has a cool little history! Created out of bomb wreckage in 1951, part of the park is on a former Quaker burial ground (dating back to the 18th century!). That tunnel you can see in the wall is also the only surviving evidence of the old Hammersmith Creek, which was covered over in 1936. It’s there, under Furnivall Gardens, that the creek flows into the Thames.
Only a few days to go until my next virtual tour! 💻 LINK IN BIO!
