As I came to the end of my time as an Au Pair, I wrote a little letter to my successor with all my wisdom. I’m posting it here in the hopes that it can also be useful to anyone else who is considering becoming an Au Pair.

Road Trippin’
Unusual things often happen on road trips. Things that don’t seem strange until you’re reminiscing about the fun you had and realise what a bunch of oddballs you really are. For anyone who has ever been on a road trip, or, really, anyone who has ever spent a prolonged period of time in a confined space with a couple of friends, you’ll understand exactly what I’m getting at.
