I would never have survived my three days in New York without strangers. Okay, maybe slightly dramatic, but the people I interacted with certainly nudged me in the right direction when I needed it most.
From photographers to navigators to new friends, be safe and always talk to strangers.

Thoughts On… Au Pairing

It’s an intense, but rewarding experience as an Au Pair. I wouldn’t want to sugar coat it because it is tough; no one has ever said that looking after kids was easy, but you do it for those special moments when you feel privileged to be able to watch them grow up and to have had a hand, however small, in that development.

Road Trippin’

Unusual things often happen on road trips. Things that don’t seem strange until you’re reminiscing about the fun you had and realise what a bunch of oddballs you really are. For anyone who has ever been on a road trip, or, really, anyone who has ever spent a prolonged period of time in a confined space with a couple of friends, you’ll understand exactly what I’m getting at. It’s perfectly normal to be a bit abnormal.
